Giclee Prints
Giclee (zhee-klay) - The French word "giclée" is a feminine noun that means a spray or a spurt of liquid. Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art, and photo-base paper.
The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than many other means of reproduction. Giclee prints are created typically using professional 8-Color to 12-Color ink-jet printers. Among the manufacturers of these printers are vanguards such as Epson, MacDermid Colorspan, & Hewlett-Packard. The quality of the giclee print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries.

Watercolor
Watercolor designates either a painting method, the medium, or the resulting artwork, where paints made of pigments suspended or dissolved in water are used.
My first online painting shall be a watercolor. I want to experiment more with "wet into wet" because I have a habit of relying on dry brush. Not necessarily a bad thing just trying to broaden my horizons. One of the many reasons I enjoy watercolor paints is that it's very versatile and forgiving.

Introduction!
Hello Everyone!
I have been inspired to set up a Blog thanks to a special community of artists and friends. Thanks for the inspiration, guys! On this Blog, you will find art work and products that are newly available. This has been a passion of mine for a while now. I am aiming to improve my style, plus enhance my portfolio of work by devoting my time to do at least one painting/drawing week. It doesn't have to be anything big, or extravagant, but anything that I happen to view as inspirational, or want to study. If you're interested in one, and/or would like to see if a particular work is available, feel free to email me at DHdesignsonline@gmail.com
