This week Afrobeat Bodega brings you an amazing set by non other than Fresh Nunas a Dj/Producer from Mozambique, currently living in NYC. He started his pro career back home but only caught people’s attention when he was invited to be a resident Dj at Bungalow 8 NYC. Fresh Nunas alongside co-founder Filipe Narciso formed AM ROOTS an Afro House collective infused with Afrobeat & Ooga Booga origins. His group AM ROOTS has caught the attention of masters like Louie Vega after releasing their first singles with Nulu Records. Ever since, Fresh has played at many venues from NYC to Mozambique and also opened his own music label with Filipe.
